Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with community leaders, religious leaders, and residents, and document analysis. Data analysis using grounded theory techniques resulted in the finding that harmony in a multicultural society is influenced by social construction of identity, leadership quality, and inclusive public policies. Multicultural education, interfaith dialogue, and community participation in social activities are key factors in building social cohesion. This research concludes that harmony is a dynamic process and requires continuous efforts from all parties. Harmony in a multicultural society is important to build and maintain harmonious relationships between different social groups. To achieve this, an inclusive approach, cross-cultural education, open dialogue, and equality and inclusion policies are needed. Cultural diversity can be a source of wealth and innovation, but it also has the potential to cause conflict if not managed properly.
