Publication Ethics

Berbudi: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical publication. The following guidelines outline the responsibilities of authors, reviewers, editorial board members, and the editor-in-chief:

Author Responsibilities

  1. Originality: Authors must ensure that their work is original and not plagiarized from other sources. Proper citation of all references is mandatory.
  2. Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work.
  3. Ethical Approval: If applicable, authors must obtain and document ethical approval from relevant authorities for research involving human or animal subjects.
  4. Data Accuracy: Authors must present accurate and honest data and results, ensuring that their findings are reproducible.
  5. Withdrawal: If authors need to withdraw their manuscript, they must notify the editorial office promptly, providing valid reasons.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  1. Confidentiality: Reviewers must keep the manuscript and its content confidential and not disclose any information before publication.
  2. Impartiality: Reviewers should evaluate manuscripts objectively, without personal bias or conflicts of interest.
  3. Constructive Feedback: Reviewers are expected to provide constructive criticism to help authors improve their manuscripts.

Editorial Board Member Responsibilities

Editor-in-Chief Responsibilities
