Below, you will find detailed author guidelines. Please ensure that your manuscript follows these instructions and is formatted according to the provided MS Word template (accessible via the [article template link]).

For submission to Multigen: Multidisciplinary Indigenous Knowledge, the following technical specifications must be met:

A. General Writing Requirements:

  1. Multigen: Multidisciplinary Indigenous Knowledge is a quarterly publication, with issues released in January, April, July, and October, and is managed by Konsorsium Pengetahuan Innoscientia.
  2. The journal publishes articles that present research findings on multidisciplinary indigenous knowledge.
  3. Manuscript preparation guidelines and templates are available for download at [article template link].
  4. Manuscripts, formatted in MS Word using this [article template link], must be submitted through the Online Submission System on the Multidisciplinary Indigenous Knowledge Journal E-journal portal.
  5. Manuscripts that do not adhere to the specified format will be returned to the authors before the review process begins.
  6. Submissions must be original and should not have been published elsewhere or be under review by other journals.
  7. Manuscripts can be written in either Indonesian or English and should be between 15 and 20 pages long, including any images and tables.
  8. The title should be in English, written in capital letters, centered, and not exceed 20 words, with a font size of 14 pt.
  9. Abstracts should be provided in both Indonesian and English, including research objectives, methods, results, and suggestions (if applicable), and should not exceed 250 words.
  10. The manuscript should be structured with the following sections: title, author's name, affiliation, email address, abstract, keywords, introduction, research methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and references.

B. Manuscript Structure:

  1. Title: Clearly describe the content of the paper, avoiding acronyms and abbreviations, with a maximum of 20 words.
  2. Abstract: Should be under 250 words, without direct quotations, and include objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and suggestions (if applicable) in both Indonesian and English.
  3. Introduction: Provide background information, current state of the field, gap analysis, research novelty, problems addressed, proposed solutions, and objectives.
  4. Research Methods: Outline the research design, procedures, participants, location, experimental setups, sampling methods, sample size, variables, instruments, and data analysis techniques.
  5. Results and Discussion: Present research findings clearly and concisely, emphasizing novelty, impact, or contributions to the field of education.
  6. Conclusions: Summarize the findings in a single paragraph, answering the research question or objective without repeating the results and discussion. Include any research-related suggestions.
  7. References: Include at least 20 primary sources, with more than 80% from reputable journals, including DOIs or URLs. References should be from the past 10 years and managed using reference management tools like Mendeley or Zotero.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
