When submitting to Kabelo: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, the following technical requirements must be fulfilled:

A. General Writing Standards:

  1. Kabelo: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is a quarterly publication released in March, July, September, and December by Konsorsium Pengetahuan Innoscientia.
  2. This journal features articles that report on community service activities. Manuscript guidelines and templates can be downloaded from the [article template link]. Submissions should be formatted in MS Word according to this [article template link] and submitted through the Online Submission System on the Kabelo: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat E-journal portal.
  3. Manuscripts that do not comply with these formatting requirements will be returned to the authors before the review process begins. Submissions must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  4. Manuscripts can be in Indonesian or English, should be between 15 and 20 pages long (including images and tables), with the title in English, centered, in capital letters, and no longer than 20 words with a 14 pt font size. Abstracts must be provided in both Indonesian and English, summarizing the research objectives, methods, results, and recommendations (if applicable) in no more than 250 words.
  5. The manuscript should include the title, author’s name, affiliation, email address, abstract, keywords, introduction, research methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and references.

B. Manuscript Format:

  • Title: Must clearly reflect the content of the paper, avoid acronyms and abbreviations, and be limited to 20 words.
  • Abstract: Should not exceed 250 words, avoid direct quotes, and include the objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and recommendations (if applicable) in both Indonesian and English.
  • Introduction: Should provide background information, the current status of the field, identified gaps, the novelty of the research, the issues addressed, proposed solutions, and the objectives.
  • Research Methods: Should detail the research design, procedures, participants, location, experimental setups, sampling methods, sample size, variables, instruments, and data analysis techniques.
  • Results and Discussion: Should present the research findings clearly and concisely, highlighting their novelty, impact, or contributions to the field of education.
  • Conclusions: Should summarize the findings in one paragraph, addressing the research question or objective without reiterating the results and discussion, and include any related recommendations.
  • References: Should list at least 20 primary sources, with more than 80% from reputable journals, including DOIs or URLs. References should be from the past decade and managed using reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
