Publication Ethics

The ethical guidelines for Kabelo: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, developed by the Innoscientia Knowledge Consortium, align with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) standards. This document delineates the ethical obligations of the Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board members, reviewers, and authors, emphasizing the importance of ethical conduct throughout the publication process.

Journal Scope and Ethical Standards: Kabelo: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat aims to establish a prestigious and interconnected knowledge network across diverse disciplines. The quality and credibility of the articles reflect the authors and their institutions, necessitating high ethical standards from all participants in the publication process. The Editor is committed to a comprehensive and impartial evaluation of all submissions, ensuring fairness and employing plagiarism detection tools to maintain the integrity of the articles.

Author Responsibilities: Authors must ensure their work is original, free from plagiarism, unpublished elsewhere, and not simultaneously submitted to other journals. They are responsible for correcting or retracting significant errors in their published work and for their individual contributions.

Reviewer Responsibilities: Reviewers should confirm their expertise before accepting assignments, avoid any conflicts of interest, and conduct reviews impartially and professionally. They must report any ethical concerns, verify the authenticity of submissions, maintain confidentiality, and complete their reviews within the designated timeframe.

Editorial Board Member Responsibilities: Board members are expected to actively contribute to the journal’s development, serve as ambassadors, support and promote the journal, and participate in manuscript evaluations.

Editor-in-Chief Responsibilities: The Editor-in-Chief assesses manuscripts based on their intellectual merit, ensures confidentiality, determines the timing and selection of articles for publication, seeks feedback to enhance the journal’s quality, provides clear instructions to contributors, and selects appropriate reviewers.
