Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain their copyright for their contributions while granting Kabelo: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat exclusive rights to publish the work initially under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits others to distribute, share, and use the work in any form, including for commercial purposes, as well as to modify, remix, and create derivative works, provided that proper credit is given to the original authors and the first publication in Kabelo is acknowledged.
Additionally, authors are free to enter into non-exclusive distribution agreements for their work, such as storing it in institutional repositories or including it in books, with the stipulation that the original publication in Kabelo is properly cited. Authors are also encouraged to make their work available online, including in institutional repositories or on personal websites, before and during the submission process. This practice fosters beneficial exchanges and can lead to earlier and more frequent citations of the work, as highlighted in "The Effect of Open Access."
