Screening for Plagiarism

Manuscripts submitted to JPMI: Jurnal Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Inklusif undergo a stringent review process utilizing Turnitin software to ensure that the similarity index remains below 20%.

Plagiarism may appear in various forms:

  • Direct Plagiarism: Copying text word-for-word from another source without quotation marks or proper citation.
  • Source Plagiarism: Presenting someone else's ideas or theories without giving proper credit.
  • Authorship Plagiarism: Claiming another author's work as one's own without appropriate acknowledgment.
  • Self-Plagiarism: Authors must avoid submitting the same work to multiple journals without significant revisions. References to prior work should be updated substantially, and new submissions should offer novel insights with minimal overlap with previous publications.
