Copyright and Licensing
The authors retain the copyright to their work while granting JPMI: Jurnal Perberdayaan Masyarakat Inklusif the exclusive right to be the first to publish it under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license allows others to share, reproduce, and distribute the material in any format or medium for any purpose, including commercial use. It also permits modifications, remixing, and the creation of derivative works, provided the original authors and the initial publication in Mapande are properly credited.
Authors may also enter into additional non-exclusive distribution agreements for their published work, such as depositing it in institutional repositories or including it in books, as long as the initial publication in JPMI is appropriately cited. Moreover, authors are encouraged to make their work available online, including in institutional repositories or on personal websites, both before and during the submission process. This approach promotes valuable exchanges and can result in earlier and more frequent citations of the work, as discussed in "The Effect of Open Access."
