- Cooperate with the editorial process by responding to reviewers' comments and submitting revisions within the specified timeframe.
- Promptly notify the Editor if a significant error is discovered after publication so that appropriate corrections or retractions can be made.
Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for:
- Making publication decisions based solely on the scholarly merit of the manuscript, regardless of the authors' race, gender, nationality, religious beliefs, institutional affiliation, or political views.
- Ensuring a fair, objective, and confidential peer review process.
- Evaluating manuscripts based on originality, scientific quality, relevance, clarity, and contribution to community service.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.
- Avoiding conflicts of interest and recusing themselves from handling manuscripts where such conflicts exist.

- Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to improve the manuscript.
- Inform the Editor of any suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, ethical concerns, or conflicts of interest.
- Complete reviews within the agreed review period or promptly notify the Editor if unable to do so.
Responsibilities of the Publisher
The publisher is committed to:
- Supporting editorial independence and ethical decision-making.
- Ensuring that commercial interests do not influence editorial decisions.
- Preserving the integrity of the academic record.
- Facilitating corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when necessary.

Research Integrity
JENDELA expects all published manuscripts to demonstrate high standards of research integrity. Any form of misconduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, or image manipulation, is considered unacceptable.
Manuscripts found to violate ethical standards may be rejected before publication or retracted after publication, depending on the severity of the misconduct.
Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer review process. Manuscripts containing substantial plagiarism, duplicate publication, or inappropriate similarity will be rejected. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all borrowed ideas, figures, tables, and text are properly cited.
Conflict of Interest
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that could influence the evaluation, interpretation, or publication of a manuscript. Where a conflict of interest exists, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure an unbiased editorial process.
Corrections and Retractions
If significant errors or ethical violations are identified after publication, JENDELA will publish corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when appropriate. Such actions are undertaken to preserve the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.
Ethical Oversight
Where applicable, manuscripts describing community service activities involving human participants should comply with relevant ethical principles, institutional regulations, and national laws. Authors are responsible for obtaining informed consent, protecting participants' privacy, and ensuring confidentiality of personal information.
Publication Malpractice
JENDELA has zero tolerance for publication malpractice. Allegations of unethical behavior will be investigated thoroughly by the Editorial Board. Appropriate actions—including manuscript rejection, publication correction, retraction, or notification to the authors' institutions—may be taken when misconduct is confirmed.
By submitting a manuscript to JENDELA (Jurnal Pengetahuan dan Kolaborasi Ilmiah), authors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Publication Ethics policy.
