The Community Research and Application Journal (CRAJ) is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the application of science, engineering, and technology to address community challenges and improve societal well-being. The journal publishes high-quality research and development studies that translate scientific and technological knowledge into practical innovations, appropriate technologies, and evidence-based solutions that deliver measurable benefits to communities.

CRAJ covers research and applications across related fields of science, engineering, and technology, including appropriate technology and engineering solutions, digital technologies and artificial intelligence, medical physics and biomedical engineering, health technologies, environmental and renewable energy technologies, waste management, applied chemistry and materials, agricultural and food technologies, disaster risk reduction, environmental monitoring, and science and technology implementation. The journal also welcomes studies on technology transfer, innovation diffusion, capacity building, and the evaluation of technological applications in community settings.

CRAJ particularly encourages research that demonstrates collaboration among universities, research institutions, industry, government, and communities, with clear evidence of practical implementation, technology adoption, measurable outcomes, and sustainable societal impact.
