Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain ownership of their work but grant the Community Research and Application Journal (CRAJ) the exclusive right to be the first to publish it. This is under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which allows others to:

Share:

Freely copy and distribute the material in any format for any purpose, including commercial use.

Adapt:

Remix, alter, and expand upon the material for any purpose, including commercial, as long as the original authorship and first publication in CRAJ are credited.

Authors are also permitted to make separate non-exclusive distribution agreements for their published work, such as archiving it in institutional repositories or including it in a book, provided that CRAJ's initial publication is acknowledged.

Furthermore, authors are encouraged to disseminate their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on personal websites) both before and during the submission process. This practice promotes academic exchanges and increases the likelihood of earlier and more frequent citations, as highlighted in "The Effect of Open Access."
