For submission to BioSatu: Journal of Biological Science and Biology Education, the following technical specifications must be met:
A. General Writing Requirements:
BioSatu: Journal of Biological Science and Biology Education is a quarterly publication, releasing issues in January, April, July, and October, managed by Konsorsium Pengetahuan Innoscientia.
The journal features articles presenting research findings on Biological Science and Biology Education. Manuscript preparation guidelines and templates can be downloaded from [article template link]. Manuscripts, formatted in MS Word using this [article template link], must be submitted through the Online Submission System on the BioSatu: Journal of Biological Science and Biology Education E-journal portal.
Manuscripts not adhering to the specified format will be returned to the authors prior to the review process. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review by other journals.
Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English and should be 15 to 20 pages long, including images and tables. The title should be in English, in capital letters, centered, and not exceed 20 words, with a 14 pt font size. Abstracts should be provided in both Indonesian and English, detailing research objectives, methods, results, and suggestions (if applicable), and should not exceed 250 words.
The manuscript should be structured with sections including the title, author's name, affiliation, email address, abstract, keywords, introduction, research methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and references.
B. Manuscript Structure:
Title: Should clearly describe the paper's content, avoid acronyms and abbreviations, and be no more than 20 words.
Abstract: Should be under 250 words, without direct quotations, and include objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and suggestions (if applicable) in both Indonesian and English.
Introduction: Provide background information, current state of the field, gap analysis, research novelty, problems addressed, proposed solutions, and objectives.
Research Methods: Detail the research design, procedures, participants, location, experimental setups, sampling methods, sample size, variables, instruments, and data analysis techniques.
Results and Discussion: Present research findings clearly and concisely, emphasizing novelty, impact, or contributions to the field of education.
Conclusions: Summarize the findings in a single paragraph, answering the research question or objective without repeating the results and discussion. Include any research-related suggestions.
References: Include at least 20 primary sources, with more than 80% from reputable journals, including DOIs or URLs. References should be from the past 10 years and managed using reference management tools like Mendeley or Zotero
