Peer Review Process

Society: Journal of Community and Service employs a closed double-blind peer review process to ensure the integrity and quality of published research. In this process:

  1. Anonymity: Both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. Authors will not know the identities of their reviewers, and reviewers will not know the identities of the authors.

  2. Selection of Reviewers: The editorial team selects qualified reviewers based on their expertise in the relevant field. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive feedback and a fair evaluation of the manuscript.

  3. Review Criteria: Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, significance, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field of community and service.

  4. Decision Making: After receiving feedback from the reviewers, the editorial team makes a decision regarding the manuscript, which may include acceptance, minor or major revisions, or rejection. Authors will receive detailed feedback from the reviewers to improve their work.

  5. Confidentiality: All materials submitted for review are treated as confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside the review process.
