Below are the detailed guidelines for authors. Please ensure your manuscript complies with these guidelines and follows the provided MS Word template, which can be accessed via the [article template link].

To submit to Masyarakat SATU: Journal of Social Innovation and Community Development, please adhere to the following technical specifications:

A. General Writing Requirements:

Masyarakat SATU: Journal of Social Innovation and Community Development is published quarterly in February, May, August, and November by Konsorsium Pengetahuan Innoscientia. The journal publishes research articles on social innovation and community development. Guidelines and templates for manuscript preparation can be downloaded from [article template link]. Manuscripts must be formatted in MS Word using this template and submitted through the Online Submission System available on the Masyarakat SATU: Journal of Social Innovation and Community Development E-journal portal. Manuscripts that do not follow the specified format will be returned to the authors before the review process. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by other journals. Manuscripts can be written in either Indonesian or English and should be 15 to 20 pages in length, including figures and tables. The title should be in English, in uppercase letters, centered, and no longer than 20 words, using a 14 pt font size. Abstracts should be provided in both Indonesian and English, summarizing the research objectives, methods, results, and suggestions (if applicable), and should not exceed 250 words.

Manuscripts should be organized into sections, including the title, author's name, affiliation, email address, abstract, keywords, introduction, research methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and references.

B. Manuscript Structure:

Title: Should clearly reflect the content of the paper, avoid acronyms and abbreviations, and be no longer than 20 words.

Abstract: Should be no longer than 250 words, without direct quotes, and should include objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and suggestions (if applicable) in both Indonesian and English.

Introduction: Provide background information, current state of the field, gap analysis, research novelty, problems addressed, proposed solutions, and objectives.

Research Methods: Describe the research design, procedures, participants, location, experimental setups, sampling methods, sample size, variables, instruments, and data analysis techniques.

Results and Discussion: Present research findings clearly and concisely, highlighting novelty, impact, or contributions to the field of education.

Conclusions: Summarize the findings in a single paragraph, addressing the research question or objective without repeating the results and discussion. Include any research-related suggestions.

References: Include at least 20 primary sources, with more than 80% from reputable journals, including DOIs or URLs. References should be from the past 10 years and managed using reference management tools like Mendeley or Zotero.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
