Copyright and Licensing
Authors maintain ownership of their work's copyright while granting Masyarakat SATU: Journal of Social Innovation and Community Development the right to first publish it under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license allows others to share, copy, and redistribute the content in any format or medium for any purpose, including commercial. It also permits adaptation, remixing, transformation, and further development of the material for any purpose, provided that the original authors and the initial publication in Masyarakat SATU: Journal of Social Innovation and Community Development are credited.
Additionally, authors can enter into separate non-exclusive distribution agreements for their work's published version, such as posting it in institutional repositories or including it in books, with proper acknowledgment of its original publication in BioSatu. Authors are also encouraged to share their work online, such as in institutional repositories or on personal websites, both before and during the submission process. This practice promotes productive exchanges and can lead to earlier and increased citation of the published work, as discussed in "The Effect of Open Access."
