Reviewer Guidelines

To elevate the quality of our journal publications, we warmly invite distinguished experts to become reviewers for Jumara: Jurnal Masyarakat Beragama. Your invaluable input is crucial for ensuring the publication of high-caliber manuscripts.

Reviewer Criteria:

• Must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree.
• Previous experience as a reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Must have published articles in internationally recognized journals that have received citations.

Review Guidelines: Reviewers should evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

Presentation:

• Does the manuscript present a clear and compelling argument?
• Are the ideas well-expressed and easy to follow?

Writing:

• Does the title accurately represent the manuscript's content?
• Is the writing clear and understandable?

Length:

• Which parts of the manuscript require expansion, reduction, summarization, or consolidation?

Title:

• Does the title succinctly and effectively convey the manuscript’s content?

Abstract:

• Does the abstract include key elements such as the research background, objectives, methods, findings, and contributions/implications?

Introduction:

• Does the background highlight a gap in existing research?
• Does the literature review incorporate relevant theories?
• Is the originality of the work emphasized?
• Are the research objectives and hypotheses clearly outlined, if applicable?

Method:

• Are the research procedures thoroughly detailed?
• Are the variables, subjects, and instruments clearly identified?
• Are data analysis methods explained?
• Is there enough information for other researchers to replicate the study?

Results:

• Are tables and figures effectively used to present the data?
• Do the results address the research questions or hypotheses?

Discussion:

• Are the results analyzed in the context of existing literature?
• Are the implications of the research clearly discussed?
• Are the strengths and limitations of the study addressed?

Conclusion:

• Are the main conclusions clearly summarized?
• Are the findings presented as a synthesis of results and discussions?
• Are new findings that contribute to the advancement of science and mathematics education highlighted?
