Copyright and Licensing
The authors retain the copyright of their work, while giving Jumara: Jurnal Masyarakat Beragama the exclusive right to publish it first under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits others to share, reproduce, and distribute the material in any format or medium for any purpose, including commercial use. Additionally, it allows alterations, remixing, and the creation of derivative works, provided the original authors and the initial publication in Mapande are credited.
Authors are also allowed to enter into other non-exclusive distribution agreements for their published work, such as depositing it in institutional repositories or including it in books, as long as the first publication in Mapande is properly cited. Furthermore, authors are encouraged to make their work available online, including in institutional repositories or on personal websites, before and during the submission process. This practice fosters valuable exchanges and can lead to earlier and more frequent citations of the work, as highlighted in "The Effect of Open Access."
