Journal History

  1. JIPSD: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar was established in 2024, with ISSN 3089-5804 (Online) based on Decree no. 30895804/II.7.4/SK.ISSN/03/2025. The ROAD ISSN for this journal can be accessed by clicking here.

  2. The journal is published three times a year (tri-annually). The first issue was published in the online edition in August, 2024.

  3. From 2024 to 2025, all articles were published in Indonesian.

  4. In 2026, JIPSD: Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar became a CrossRef member and began assigning a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to every published article.

  5. From 2026 until the present, all articles are published exclusively in English to enhance international reach and scholarly impact.

  6. From 2024 – 2025, each publication issue consisted of 6 articles.

  7. Since 2026, each publication issue consists of 6 articles per issue.

  8. In Vol 2. No 3. (2026) The editorial team implemented a new full-text layout design, including updates to typography, image placement, and table formatting for better readability.

  9. JIPSD is currently indexed in several reputable databases, including: Google Scholar and Garuda

  10. In its effort to enhance the quality of the publication, JIPSD has established collaborations and strategic alliances with various academic partners and professional organizations in the field of elementary education.

  11. The Author Guidelines were updated on January 2nd 2026 and are effective starting from Vol. 2 No. 3 2026. Key changes include adjustments to the required article length.

  12. The Article Template was updated on February, 13th 2026 to align with the new guidelines and to improve the visual presentation of the article's first page and metadata.
