Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the rights to their work but give the Journal of Holistic Medical Technologies (JHMT) the privilege of being the first to publish it. This is done under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0), allowing others to:

Share:

  • Copy and redistribute the material in any format for any purpose, including commercial uses.

Adapt:

  • Remix, modify, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial, provided the original authorship and first publication in JHMT are credited.

Additionally, authors can enter into separate agreements for non-exclusive distribution of the published version of their work, such as posting it in institutional repositories or including it in a book, as long as the initial publication in JHMT is acknowledged.

Moreover, authors are encouraged to share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on personal websites) both before and during the submission process. This practice enhances academic exchanges and leads to earlier and more frequent citations of the published work, as noted in "The Effect of Open Access."
