Allegation of Research Misconducts

Jetrin: Journal of Research Trends in Education takes allegations of research misconduct very seriously. The handling of allegations aligns with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which can be accessed at COPE Misconduct Guidelines.

When an allegation of research misconduct is received, the editorial team will conduct a preliminary assessment to determine the validity of the claim. This may involve gathering relevant documentation and seeking input from the authors, reviewers, and other experts in the field. If the allegation is substantiated, appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with COPE guidelines, which may include issuing a correction, retraction, or further investigation.

In cases where retraction of a published article is deemed necessary, the retraction process adheres to the Retraction Guidelines outlined by COPE, available at COPE Retraction Guidelines. The retraction will be clearly communicated in the journal, providing readers with an explanation of the reasons behind the action taken.
