Peer Review Process
Bakti: Journal of Public Service and Collaboration applies a closed double-blind review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the published works. In this process, both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other to maintain objectivity and fairness.
The peer review process follows these steps:
- After submission, the editorial team conducts an initial assessment to ensure that the manuscript fits the journal’s scope and adheres to its submission guidelines.
- Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
- Reviewers provide detailed evaluations and recommendations for revisions, acceptance, or rejection of the manuscript.
- Based on the reviewers' feedback, the editorial team makes a decision and communicates it to the author, along with the reviewers' comments.
- If revisions are required, the authors are given time to address the feedback and resubmit the manuscript for further review if necessary.
