Allegation of Research Misconducts

Bakti: Journal of Public Service and Collaboration takes allegations of research misconduct very seriously and is committed to maintaining the integrity of the research published within its pages. The handling of allegations of research misconduct aligns with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), accessible at COPE Misconduct Guidelines.

In the event of an allegation, the journal will follow a thorough and fair investigation process, which includes:

  1. Initial assessment of the allegation to determine its validity.
  2. Communication with the involved parties to gather information and provide an opportunity for response.
  3. Consultation with experts or additional reviewers if necessary.

If misconduct is confirmed, the journal may take appropriate actions, including issuing a correction, withdrawal, or retraction of the publication, as deemed necessary. The retraction process adheres to the Retraction Guidelines outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), available at COPE Retraction Guidelines.
