Allegation of Research Misconducts

Partisipan: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat takes allegations of research misconduct seriously and is committed to maintaining the integrity of the research published. The handling of allegations aligns with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), accessible at COPE Misconduct Guidelines.

In the event that an allegation of misconduct arises, the following procedures will be followed:

  1. Initial Assessment: The editorial team will conduct a preliminary assessment of the allegation to determine its validity.
  2. Investigation: If deemed necessary, a thorough investigation will be initiated, involving relevant parties such as the authors, reviewers, and institutions associated with the research.
  3. Confidentiality: All parties involved in the investigation will be treated with respect, and confidentiality will be maintained throughout the process.

Should the investigation confirm misconduct, appropriate actions will be taken, which may include the retraction of the published article. The retraction process adheres to the Retraction Guidelines outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), available at COPE Retraction Guidelines.
