Juwarisa: Jurnal Warisan dan Kebudayaan takes all allegations of research misconduct seriously and is committed to ensuring the integrity of the research it publishes. Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to, fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, unethical experimentation, and inappropriate authorship practices.

Handling Allegations
The handling of allegations of research misconduct aligns with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All allegations will be investigated thoroughly and impartially. If necessary, the journal will work in coordination with the authors’ affiliated institutions or other relevant bodies to address the issue. Investigation Process
- Upon receiving an allegation, the editor-in-chief will initiate a preliminary assessment to determine if the claim is credible and whether further investigation is warranted.
- If the allegation is deemed credible, a formal investigation will be conducted in collaboration with the author’s institution, which may include obtaining statements from involved parties and reviewing documentation related to the case.
- The journal will maintain confidentiality throughout the process, disclosing information only to those directly involved in the investigation.

Retraction of Articles
If research misconduct is confirmed, the article in question may be retracted to maintain the integrity of the academic record. The retraction process adheres to the Retraction Guidelines outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The complete retraction guidelines are available here. -
Notification and Actions
- If an article is retracted, a retraction notice will be published in the journal, and the article will be marked accordingly on the journal's website.
- Authors and their institutions will be informed of the findings, and appropriate corrective actions will be taken based on the severity of the misconduct.
