Peer Review Process
JUPMASA: Jurnal Pengembangan Masyarakat employs a closed double-blind review process to ensure the integrity and quality of the scholarly work published in the journal. In this system, both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
- Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system.
- Initial Screening: The editorial team conducts an initial screening to assess the suitability of the manuscript for the journal’s focus and scope.
- Reviewer Assignment: Suitable manuscripts are assigned to two or more reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
- Review Process: Reviewers evaluate the manuscripts based on criteria such as originality, significance, methodological rigor, and clarity of presentation. They provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Editorial Decision: After receiving the reviewers' comments, the editorial team makes a decision regarding the manuscript, which may include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.
- Communication with Authors: Authors receive feedback from reviewers and the editorial decision. If revisions are requested, authors are given a specific timeframe to address the reviewers' comments before resubmitting their manuscript.
- Final Review: Resubmitted manuscripts are re-evaluated by the reviewers to ensure that all concerns have been adequately addressed.
