Publication Ethics
Sakha: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. As part of this commitment, we outline the responsibilities of authors, reviewers, editorial board members, and the editor-in-chief.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are expected to ensure that their submitted work is original, accurate, and free from plagiarism. They must properly acknowledge the contributions of others and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. Authors should also provide sufficient detail in their manuscripts to allow for replication of their studies. If authors discover significant errors in their published work, they must promptly notify the editor and cooperate in rectifying the situation.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of the journal. They are responsible for providing a fair, objective, and constructive evaluation of the manuscripts assigned to them. Reviewers must respect the confidentiality of the review process and refrain from using any unpublished information for their own research purposes. Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed to the editor.
Editorial Board Member Responsibilities
Editorial board members are responsible for guiding the journal’s editorial policy and ensuring the integrity of the peer review process. They must actively participate in the review of manuscripts and contribute to the journal’s strategic direction. Board members should disclose any conflicts of interest and ensure that their decisions are based on the merit of the work, free from personal bias.
Editor-in-Chief Responsibilities
The editor-in-chief holds the ultimate responsibility for the editorial content and the overall integrity of the journal. They are tasked with making final decisions on manuscript acceptance or rejection based on the reviewers' feedback and the journal’s standards. The editor-in-chief must ensure a fair and transparent review process and take necessary actions to address any ethical concerns raised during the publication process.
